This year I decided to skip the Easter celebrations and stay behind in the UK. If you’ve been following me on social media lately you would know that on Sunday I met up with a friend of mine in Oxford. Even though I have been living in Wales for seven months, I haven’t really seen much of England but London, so I was really excited to visit what from the pictures looked like a lovely and beautiful historic city.

Though a small town, Oxford was so full of charm. We woke up early and had a lovely breakfast in a local cafe, before we started walking around the city. We walked around for hours to see all of the historical and famous sites, and had a lovely time photographing Universities, libraries and other beautiful buildings. After a small pub break, we continued with a visit to Christ Church College where a few scenes from Harry Potter was filmed, before we continued with an afternoon walk in the University of Oxford’s botanical garden. We had such a great time walking around the city dreaming of being Oxford students (or really Hogwarts students).

I’ll leave this post here as there will be an additional post from the botanic garden, so keep your eyes peeled for that. Even though we just spent a little over a day in Oxford, I felt we got to see a lot of what Oxford had to offer before we returned to Cardiff. It is truly a beautiful place, so it is one for the ‘travel’ list.

Such Lovely photos ?? Makes me proud to live here. a little confused about it being referred to as a small town ? as it’s a city and quite large ? But love the way the charm of oxford has been caught in the shots!! X

Thank you <3 Haha I understand the confusion, but the only English city I have been to before was London, so Oxford was a bit smaller. But I absolutely loved it!
