University of Oxford Botanic Garden

When we visited Oxford earlier this week, we ended our day with a stroll around the garden. Having grown up with a mother who loves flowers and gardening, I have over the years learned to appreciate their beauty. The garden consists of an outside garden and several greenhouses. Even though we arrived quite late, we managed to have a walk through the entire garden and all of the greenhouses. As you can see the pictures, the weather varied from sunny to cloudy, but if there is one thing I have learned living in the UK it is that you should be happy as long as it does not rain.

After enjoying the gardens, we went inside to enjoy the greenhouses. The heath of the greenhouses definitely made me long for a tropical holiday, but as my summer will be spent in Wales finishing my dissertation, I cannot do anything but dream of beaches and cocktails.

Phu, it did end up as a picture-heavy post, but I do hope you’ve enjoyed the pictures from Oxford. Until next time x

Really gorgeous post – I really love your photos, the quality and way they capture the scene is amazing! What camera do you use? Oxford is a really lovely place, it’s quite small but there’s so much to do! Have you been punting?

Thank you! I have an Olympus Pen E-PL7 and edit my photos in VSCO. Oxford was lovely, but we didn’t try punting this time.
