The Best White T-shirts Under $50
I recently posted a reel about white t-shirts on Instagram and TikTok. I tried on and compared four different brands of T-shirts. There were so many comments I thought I’d write a blog about what I shared, but also what I learned from the comments. Wow - those Tik Tok’ers had a lot to say!
I started my reel by saying, “I don’t think we should spend more than $50 on a white t-shirt”, and I still stand by that opinion. I might even lower that number after I tried these four options:

Of these four, Hanes was my favorite at only $6.99 but it’s now sold out on Amazon (did my post have something to do with that?) Some sizes are available on the Hanes site and it’s still a deal at $8.00. Madewell also turned out to be a great option and the Banana Republic T-shirt is a “shrunken” style so you may want to go up a size. I thought this one was a good option for a more fitted T, but I needed to go up a size for sure. The Tik Tok and Instagram community had a lot to say about those four choices and most agreed the Hanes looked best. But they also had over 250 comments and many of them included their favorite white t-shirts. I went through alllll the comments to see which shirts had multiple mentions and then ranked them for you.

Uniqlo was hands down the most mentioned t-shirt in the comments. Several other brands were mentioned as well so there’s definitely no shortage of options. I enjoyed doing this ‘best of’ experiment and a few comments requested I do this for white button up shirts next. What do you think?
